Trolling the internet
Masterbox produce a few interesting and useful kits and this is no exception. It reminds me of the old Aurora kits of monsters from the movies. This only contains the figure, there is no base or other accessories, except the lump of wood he is holding.
Fits together well, there are few parts anyway, and a small amount of filler is only required if you are pedantic. I filled with old plastic cement and left it a day or two.
A delight to paint, and the subject allows anything from a few colours, through to the full works with dirt, sweat, runny eyes, the whole nine yards.
I wish there was a Mrs Troll, and a Jr and a little Miss, a family would be great fun.
I look forward to the expansion of The World of Fantasy series.
The only slight criticism is the pose is a extreme and would be hard to alter without a bit of cutting and filling.

Bronco 1/35 Kits, Fiat 500.
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent moulding, good fit, high enough level of detail, brass etch is included. Instructions very good, like all kits, a level of experience is required and an intelligent engineering approach is required.
Packaging is super too, car is tiny in proportion!!!! There is even a copy of the box art which is lovely to have.
The figures are a real bonus as these can cost a lot on there own.
It would not be beyond the beginner to build this BUT I would not recommend it because it would take too long to build. However if you can build a 1/35 tank this is really easy, in fact as a first step from a smaller scale this would be great.
Paint and finishing.
To get a good, new looking, finish then brush painting may not be good enough. It needs spraying, airbrushing is ideal, but good quality spray cans should also work perfectly,
The real car was also built in France as a Simca 5. There are several kits of both cars, in several versions, from more than one manufacturer. The etched brass kits made by others for the Simca 5 should provide extra detail if required.
