Usual Taylor quality
Excellent feel, intonation and playability. Well made and finished. Nice tone, good bass and articulation but 'soft voice'. Sounds best with a little amplification.

Impressively compact, same great sound
Very pleased with this compact design and layout of controls and jacks. Same great vintage sound of earlier dejavibes, plus extra gain and speed range.

Adds chime/sparkle
I've used these to replace the stock saddles on all three of my strats now (1991 strat plus rosewood fretboard and roller nut, 1989 American standard with TUSQ nut, 1986 MIJ Squier with TUSQ nut). In each case these saddles added high end sparkle and chime, a more acoustic guitar like sound, probably at some loss of midrange punch. I prefer it for a clean to moderately overdriven amp sound, especially where the harmonic detail can be heard. Not sure I'd recommend them for use with heavy overdrives or situations where you need extra midrange to be heard in the mix. Putting these in my strat plus with stock Lace sensor pickups gave it the sparkle of the vintage style Custom shop 69 pickup I had previously tried (and liked), but without the hum.
