A truly great phone
0 of 1 found this helpful The phone screams flagship, however remember that the back facing camera on this device is extremely low resolution. It's great in low light and niche situations, but photos tend to look like water color paintings if you dare to zoom in.

Great if you can get it under $550
Great Build Quality: Check
Gorgeous Design: Check
Hi-Res Display: Nope
Powerful Graphics: Definetely
Powerful CPU: Yes, but HP has undeclocked it for some reason.
Fast HDD: NO! Absolutely not.
Plenty of Ram: Barely enough for professional work.
Conclusion: This laptop has character and with some TLC can easily become a titan in its class, but when you buy it be aware that its HDD is 5400RPM and will seriously bottleneck the laptops performance until its removed. Also, If your planning on using this for Gaming or Video Editing etc. You should also look for faster and more RAM as the 6GB included is quickly filled by hard hitting applications, and since the FX-8800p's R7 Graphics use the system memory instead of its own, speed of the ram matters!
So since you will need to buy extra parts to get this thing up to titan levels keep the extra items prices in mind as you buy. But if your'e doing just work processing or programming (without hitting the RAM to often) it'll be fine as is.
