Sony PlayStation 2 Black Console (SCPH-39003)
07 January 2020
An oldie but a goodie
Even after all these years the Playstation2 is still worth picking up. The only issue I've had so far is needing to replace the CMOS battery for the date/time function, which on these older units is a more involved process then the slim models, but once it's done, it won't need doing again for some time. Bought a new Component cable to take advantage of having all 5 sockets being used instead of just the R/Y/W Composite cable, and the picture on my 55" 4K TV is great. This isn't going to beat a more modern console, but if you liked the PS2 when it came out, you'll love it now, as the console and the games are so much cheaper than they were the first time around.

Logitech G-X2D11 Wireless Controller (Sony PlayStation 2, PS2) NO Receiver

Logitech Redefine Wireless Controller Design For PS2
More contoured than the 'Katana' Wireless Sony PS2 Controller, this has to be the pinnacle of Third Party controller design. One of the few original wireless controllers that has held its value, even after all these years. Simple to use and set up. Just drop 3 AAA batteries into the back of the controller and plug the receiver into the front of your PS2. It's pretty much that easy. Very responsive when being used in-game.
