2009 Taylormade Burner Irons
It is touted as being one of the easiest and longest club set you can hit. The package arrived and I was very impressed with the finish and style of the irons. Good looking club! I was all set to try them out on the course but figured I'd give them a try on the range before I did. I had great difficulty in getting good feel for the clubs. I currently own Ping G10 irons and have been mostly happy with them as far as control, but wanted more distance and punch to my irons. The distance is there but I never felt as if I had total control of the clubs. After three rounds, went back to my Pings and THAT is where I'm staying until Ping says there is something better. I got a great deal on EBAY for the clubs and was able to sell them for the same amount,,so all is well.
