Not Usable
1 of 1 found this helpful I carefully read the instructions, spent much time experimenting with different fret wire, different strategies of holding the wire, and was never able to make it work any better than simply using a common fret wire cutting tool to trim off the tang then touching up with a file. The tool really bends the wire. It strikes me that the tool is really for something else and is being sold as a fret tang nibbler. Perhaps if the manufacurers really tested it with fret wire and made some simple engineering modifications it might work.
