Happy buyer
I'm always a little bit skeptical of product quality when it comes to buying refurbished items but this works exactly as new - which is obviously what the "certified" status implies. If you're even moderately savvy with wi-fi, you'll find set-up to be easy. The 'app' set-up for Away mode "rules" is fairly easy if you only get 1 unit but if you've purchased & installed multiple units at one time, app rule set-up isn't immediately intuitive for per/unit schedules - assuming you want each unit to operate within it's own parameter vs. all following the exact same rule. It's not insurmountable and I never needed to contact Customer Support for guidance, but it did take ~30 minutes to really "get it" (I bought multiple units).
The ONLY thing I would like the app to offer is the ability to operate their products under multiple locations or wireless networks. In other words, if you are lucky enough to own a vacation/rental property, you cannot do it. The Nest app does allow you to do this by creating and operating units under you existing "Home" and an enitrely separate location. Since Wemo products can link with the Nest thermostat, I hope the folks at Wemo will add this very useful flexibility in an app update.
