Nothing beats the original
The more recent releases of Fauntleroy are charming to be sure, but the energy and elegance of the first black and white version remains unmatched. As with may of the films from the 1930's, the acting seems somewhat exaggerated at times. However, the character and purity of Fauntleroy captured here is timeless. The performance of the young Mickey Rooney is especially entertaining now that we have see his long acting career. A blessing for any family to enjoy and learn the meaning of loving the unlovable.

It works, but...
When I plug it in, it feeds to current data - with returns - to my keyboard, unless I start the application first. Feeding data to the keyboard is a good feature, but it should not be the default mode when you plug it in. I did not check the accuracy of the read outs, but they seem to at least be in the ballpark. I would gladly give it five stars if someone knows how to permanently turn off the auto data feed mode. And no, autostarting the app on boot is not an acceptable solution. Thanks!

CamRanger functionality for 1/10th the price
I was a computer engineer for 25 years, so it was a simple process to convert this to a wireless tether for my Nikon camera. You can find the instruction with a Google search for qdslrdashboard. I have not used a CamRanger, but I have used the iUSBPortCamera and EyeFi. This setup seems to have a more stable connection to my iPad, and far more functionality than the iUSBPortCamera or EyeFi apps. For one-tenth the price, and a little sweat equity, it is well worth the cost.
