Must have gotten a defective one.
I was very disappointed in the sandisk 256G sd card. I have several and they have worked very well. I wanted one that had a higher capacity. I plugged it into my computer and tried to add my photos. It took 12 hours and never finished. I must have gotten a defective one.
Sandisk usually has very good quality.

I absolutely love my Kindle Fire HD. I've had the 7" kindle for a couple of years and wanted an upgrade. The 8.9" HD model is even better than the original Fire.
The Kindle Fire HD has awesome graphics with a super clear large screen and even a nice camera. With 16 Gb storage capacity, the Kindle Fire HD can store lots of music, photos, books and games.
It is lightweight, thin and easy to use. I love it.

6 of 6 found this helpful What can I say about the kindle Fire except that it is awesome! I bought the Kindle Fire when it first came out in November 2011 and gave it to my brother for Christmas, so I had to buy another one for me!
Much cheaper than the Ipad with many of the same attributes, the kindle Fire is a 7 inch tablet that doe everything the advertising says it does. Surfing the web is easy, purchasing and reading e-books simple. You can connect to the internet wirelessly wherever there is a connection at home or the coffee shop. The font size can be adjusted for all readers to read books comfortably. It has a great backlight and has a color touchscreen. I already have lots more apps than just books. You can play games, read magazines, download music and videos or check your email.
