An excellent, enjoyable, interesting true story!
This is a fascinating, thorough, well written and well paced story. Definitely something to read if you're interested in the history of the age of European exploration when the Royal Geographic Society was created in order to map the still unknown parts of the word. It's also the story of one of the most intrepid explorers, his mysterious disappearance when he was in search of a fabled lost city and a reporter's attempt to discover the truth behind it all.
