A good idea for a Geiger counter dosimeter
3 of 3 found this helpful I was looking for a simple but expandable Geiger counter / dosimeter and after searching eBay and not only I found this device to be the most money effective one.
What I consider as positive:
- It works as it was described
- It is versatile - you can adapt different GM sensors, connect to a PC or other intelligent device through a USB interface.
- It can be controlled through a remote control
- If you need more information the Seller is ready to share and, in my opinion, he knows what he is talking about.
- It has a good video that can teach you a quick lesson on how to use it.
- It is not expensive.
What I proposed to be improved:
- It should has a short written Manual with a diagram of outside connections and written description of the functions.
- The Manual has to say something about high voltage danger and how to avoid accidents, if they exists.
- The box has to be improved to better fit the GM sensor or sensors.
I am happy with this purchase!
