Love my AT 4050!
1 of 3 found this helpful This mic has been a welcome addition to my locker. It delivers transparent and quiet recordings and the most useful patterns at a very reasonable price.
My only complaint would be that the shock mount design makes it difficult to mount the mic, which has to be pulled though a tight rubber band, catching on the switches. Also, there is very little clearance between the metal mic housing and the shock mount ring, and since they are both made of metal, I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with scratches on the mic before long.

Works great, however...
Love the product, however, the size was not easy to discern from the ad. I thought I was ordiering much smaller units. These work as advertized, but an object for scale in one of the pics would have been helpful. So, they are not as portable as I wanted, but they are effective, nonetheless.
