Misleading photos damage value
Disappointed to find that there is no bed portion of the cover included for this item. Change your photos to reflect what you are actually selling. Material is flimsy and seems like it will rip if not handled delicately. Probably Ok for indoor storage only. Ad should be titled " half of a truck cover".

Removed factory dash panel, still wanted a gear indicator.
So far, this unit wires up as the description above shows and works as it should. I removed the factory dash panel and built a custom aluminum dash, but still wanted the gear indicator. I drilled aa hole and then used a dremel tool to cut the square. Fits nicely.

Solution to classic speedometer issues.
Installed this speedometer in an old (1967) Jeepster Commando. The drivetrain has been updated and cable drive was no longer an option. I looked into cable drive units that use GPS, but this was the most simple method to get the results we wanted.
Speedo boots up within 60 seconds and often faster. I like that it has the satellite time available. Tracks top speed, miles and hours driven. Will tell you your heading and your position if you so desire.
No more worrying about speedo error when tire size changes or gear ratios are modified!
We mounted the antenna on the dash. The receiver has impressed as we took the Jeep on a tour through some high mountain canyons, many sections with dense trees and a small window to the sky. The speedometer never failed to continue reading and displaying our speeds even as we crept along at 3-4 mph for long periods.
I just wish they made these in a 0-90mph or 0-100mph as classic Jeeps should never see over 85-90 mph.
