New Wii consoles are not back-compatible to Gamecube - buy used!!!
An important thing to keep in mind about the Wii -- the older Wii consoles are back-compatible with Nintendo Gamecube games, but the new ones are not. We have moved on to the Wii-U, but still use the original Wii for some things, including playing Gamecube games. When our Wii broke, I originally thought I would replace it with another new Wii, which have dropped in price considerably since the Wii U has come out. But, then I found out that the new Wii's are not back-compatible with Gamecube. Shame on you Nintendo, not only for removing this useful feature, but for not making this very clearly obvious. And, thank you Ebay, and the many wonderful sellers on Ebay, for providing a great source of buying high quality used Wii's that will still also play Gamecube games.

NEW ATT AIRTIE 4921
12 June 2022
Fixed the unstable wifi zone in our home
Our wifi router is in the basement, and we were having a lot of problems with our wifi connection on the main level. We could have leased a wifi extender through AT&T, but chose to purchase this Airtie 4921 on EBAY instead. It was brand new, in the original unsealed box, for $60 - about half the price we could have purchased if for other places. It was easy to set up, and so far has fixed our problems - we have streamed several movies and other shows with no delays, which was impossible with the old setup. Assuming it keeps working for at least one year, it will end up being much cheaper than the leasing option. I highly recommend this to others; but, do your homework first. The extender must be compatible with your router. Be sure to find the model number of your router and check to see which extenders are compatible before purchasing.
