Live Traffic and Live Speed Cameras (TomTom Live services) simply does not work - 2G SIM useless

Live Traffic and Live Speed Cameras (TomTom Live services) simply does not work - the inbuilt 2G SIM is useless/does not work and TomTom full well knew the 2G network was being shut down, yet they continued to offer the Go5100/6100 and even later the 5200/6200 models (also with inbuilt 2G SIM) for sale!
