Good Looking and Hefty Badge!! Be Careful How Much You Tighten The Mounting Post!!
Although this item is made for a vehicle, I used it as a decoration on a wood display plaque that I made for mounting a helicopter tail rotor blade that I was given when I was in the US Navy. Overall, the quality and appearance of this badge are very nice. It is certainly made of metal. The enamel finish on it is very attractive and shiny. The single issue I have with the badge is the weakness of the threaded socket where the threaded mounting post is screwed in on the back of the badge. Be careful how much force you use to tighten it! I didn't feel like I was using too much force, but the thin walled socket broke and became useless after a very small amount of tightening. Short of super gluing the post in the socket, it was made useless! For my purposes, it wasn't the tragedy that it might have been for its intended use. I simply drilled the mounting hole in the wooden plaque and inserted the socket piece into the hole and dropped drops of super glue into the back side of the hole, clamped the badge in the correct orientation and let the glue dry for a few hours. The badge is good and attached where I want it. Obviously, this "fix" wouldn't work for everyone, but it did for me. I am deducting one Star for the weakness of the mounting post socket and the fact that it broke so easily.

High Quality, Great Price!
I am very impressed by the quality of this buffer extension tube! Fitment is excellent and the machining is top rate, with very tight tolerances and smooth edges! Each of the six stock positions locks in solid and once it has been run back and forth a few more times it will have a smooth, rattle free fit to the stock. Finish is equally nice, with an even, smooth, non-reflective finish. I have built MANY rifles of this type and have seen some tubes which were WAY out of tolerance and specs and either allowed the stock to rattle on the tube, or were so tight I had to take a round file to the inside if the stock to make it fit! This is not one of those. I would stack this up against any other manufacturers tube costing three or even four times what this tube cost! I recommend this tube for your replacement or rifle build without hesitation!

This remote is the same one which was originally provided with the VCR I own. It has a good strong signal, it works great and I have no complaints.
