Defective Ball

I've had 3 of these track balls, I really like them but they do wear out. This last one, however, had a ball that had a flaw in it when I received it. It would occasionally lock up and not scroll horizontally. No problem, I simply used the ball from my previous track ball and it worked fine. Still, not a good thing.
