Pupper likes it and it lasts !
Our first one was black w?silver trim and lasted until this fall when the edges began fraying to a point we felt would annoy our pup. He just turned 8 and has had this for years. He seems quite comfortable in it, so when I found this one, I looked and found another, which we purhcased as a backup, in the event they become discontinued.

While a reporter may have guessed 1st in 1877, HER DOGGED EFFORT gives credence to the theory
Having been a mechanic on specialized golf course grooming equipment for 44.5 yrs I have an appreciation for engineering - good & bad , I've had to deal with both- in myriad diciplines.
I purchased this book a while back & it's been waiting for me to get the time to read it. I recently retired & my wife & I are avid readers. We're getting ready to move, so most of the books are boxed & this was one of my more recent purchases & easy to access....so, I dug in.
I had trouble trying to find places to break away from this when I needed to. A friend of mine at work (the retirement is so recent !) had beat me to the draw listening to the audio book which he felt could not keep his interest ( I think he needs rather - to read her recommended : "The H. L. Hunley: The Secret Hope of the Confederacy by Tom Chaffin). Me - NOT SO ! While a good deal of Ms.(? she recently married) Lance's work is Wayyyyyy beyond my level of expertise, it is written in such that with the many well chosen analogies it's no problem to follow & deduce.
Having read a book on David Bushnell's Turtle submarine effort during the Revolutionary War a while back - I could not resist a similar story, this one made all-the-better by Rachel's layman-friendly writing & the concurrent storyline of all that was involved to put forth her theory to achieve her PhD. Well done !!! GREAT reading !!! I'd love to meet her !

Didn't wind up using THIS adapter. We got the one for our Walther P22. Excellent item, so...I'm equally sure this is !
