Just a notch below Wii
1 of 1 found this helpful I have never been a video gamer and neither my kids, so getting the newest top-of-the line item was not my priority. I got an excellent Gamecube unit with a few sports games included. I love the sports games because they are real, keep my kid interested and are violence-free.
I also got comments from actual gamecube users who state that the unit is by far more suitable for kids than the new Wii because of its solid construction and less internal moving parts, i.e.: a hard disk drive. I got the blue unit because my nephews have a silver and a black unit respectively so, indigo was the obvious choice! And matching indigo controllers, of course!
oh! I almost forgot. These units are getting cheaper and so do the game disks, so here is another reason for getting it.!
