God is a Fantastic Artist
Everything has already been said. As a documentary this is well done. The English voicing I feel adds a bit to the educational flavor over the Sigourney Weaver narration which is a bit more laid back in my opinion. The visuals are crisp and the organization is decent. For what I paid I'm quite happy.

Blast from the Past
Opening the 80s this album and AC/DC Back in Black got heavy rotation. Just reliving some of the past before DL became in their own words a "Light Alloy" band.

New is not better
I bought this because I have an original pressing that was beginning to develop a little noise from repeated playing over the years. I read on the Steve Hoffman forum that this reissue was remastered and cut by Ray Staff at Air Studios and that the project was meticulously crafted to produce an excellent final product. Unfortunately I believe the skills necessary to bring this project to fruition have been lost to the hands of time. I say this because the pressing I received sounds dull and muffled when compared to my original pressing. The air and space around the instruments is reduced and the separation is less than that on my original pressing. The new vinyl is quieter than the old, but this comes at the aforementioned price of reduced clarity and openness. My opinion was formed from listening to both versions several times using the same equipment which is a Micro Seki DDX1000 turntable with a MA-505 tonearm fitted with a Shure V15 cartridge.
