GET OVER IT!
This book has something for everyone who has either been offended by someone, or happens to be an offender. There's no getting around the fact that offense is offensive, and if you don't get victory over it, the poison will turn on you. Get this book and save your sanity.

Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel is a definite book to OWN!
This is a classic children's book by a VERY talented writer and artist.....Reading about the author/artist, Virginia Lee Burton, led to me getting Mike Mulligan and the other books she wrote/illustrated from a library, and then wanting to have a copy of "Mike" for myself. I was thrilled when I got it. My sister-in-law, on my recommendation, ordered one for her 3-year-old grandson, and said he loves it! Do yourself a treat and read/buy Mike Mulligan and some of the other delightful Burton children's books. You won't regret it, and neither will the children who also get to read them!

Content and format inspirational and beautiful
Such a beautiful book. Everything about it is so inspirational and cheering. Beautiful format, pictures, readings....very engaging and makes a very nice gift for friends who like this kind of reading.
