G&L ASAT Classic Tribute
1 of 1 found this helpful I love these Tributes. Stock pickups are really good. I have two of these ASAT guitars. One I kept the stock pickups. The other I installed a set of Bill (Wilde) Lawrence customs. You can get a set for less than $100.
Amazing quality for the cost!! Out of a dozen different Tributes, only one time have I needed to address a fret issue. 10 min of filing and it was perfect.
You can get the necks with light or heavy finish. I prefer little.
The USA ASATs maybe feel a bit more refined but that is the extent of the differences. And for that you pay $800 or more.

Very Well Made Bridge
1 of 1 found this helpful 1st thing the plating adheres very consistently. No bumps. No thin spots. Very smooth. It fits as a direct replacement for a vintage or 4 hole Tele bridge. The saddles operate very smoothly and sit solid. I'd rather have this bridge any day rather than a Fender barrel type bridge.

Vox AC15
I was told when I bought my first AC15 that I wouldn't need another amp.....ever. While not quite true, it is the amp I keep going back to. It does everything I could ask. It's solid. Well built. It's the best sounding 1x12 I've heard with my G&L ASATs. Looks like a classic. And affordable. Maybe a bit heavy compared to other 1-12s but not bad.
One thing is for certain I won't be trading it off for another amp. I know this because I bought my 1st AC15 three years ago. My buddy borrowed it ......well borrowered is a nice term. He just kept it and paid me for it. I bought another when it was clear it wasn't coming back.
