Great Amp, lots of personalities
This amp has been around for a while but you can set it for a wide arrange of sounds - thin, disco type comping on a modeled 10" speaker cabinet or thunderous power chords "through" a Bogner head and a Marshall 4x12 cabinet. More reverb effects than I knew existed, chorus, flange, phaser, wah. The only thing lacking is a harmonizer and talk box - which I get in the Line 6 HD500.

One of the best I'll ever own
I tried a different 7 String years ago - a signature 7 string from Dean - and the craftsmanship was awful, and I paid like $900 for it. The neck never let me forget I was playing a bigger instrument. And the FR whammy bar is SO loose - it fell out of my guitar during a jam session and landed on my feet.
I took it to a guitar repair to what we could do about making the frets higher and getting the whammy bar fixed. I was like $1200.
So when I ran across this "JEM" I was skeptical. I should have returned the Dean but didn't - I wasn't going to make the same mistake with this guitar. So I played it every day since I got it.
The neck feels like a regular guitar with a 7 string. It is a joy to play. I LOVE the last 4 scalloped frets at top. Frets and neck are outstanding.
Pickups are terrific. I've always wanted DiMarzio. They sound great!
The whammy bar - Ibanez makes superior whammy bars in my opinion. The bar stays where you put it. In fact I even dreamt I was playing this guitar last night and using the bar.
ZERO complaints with this guitar. It also came "used" but without a scratch on it and even still had the plastic covering on the pick guard.
