Another quality Japanese tool.
This received five stars due to to quality of the tool. One thing I would want to see changed is the girth of the handle--it is a little small for larger hands. I will likely wrap the handle with something in order to get a better grip.

The best shovel in the world.
I have owned this shovel for about 13 years and it has been used for tasks that other shovels would not survive doing, such as digging out tree roots and rocks. The one I owned, however, recently succumbed to a fire, which softened the steel enough to where it can't be used for the tough tasks anymore. I was worried that I would not be able to replace it, but Fiskars is still offering this wonderful shovel and I purchased it. Every now and then one finds a really good tool--this is one of those tools. I had other digging shovels with fiberglass and wood handles and will own those again, but they will be used for the lighter jobs.
