Told well
I love reading books about true hauntings most of the ones out there combine tales from many people who have experienced living in haunted homes or other paranormal encounters so when a book comes along that deals with only one haunting I consider it a real find- I feel that there aren't enough of these books written. This story was everything I hoped for, the author's telling of her experiences in the house were truly creepy and the bonus was how well written the whole story was. I really enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend it to any paranormal fan!

Haunted Plantation-Great Writer!
This was a great book to read if you are a true haunting fan, the author is a talented writer which is pretty refreshing as some authors of true hauntings can leave you wondering what the heck they are talking about! She explains in detail how she was originally drawn to the Myrtles Plantation, the events that happened while she was living there and the past histories of the house that she researched and discovered. She also writes well about the description of the house so it is easy to visualise as you are reading and the paranormal parts of entire book are truly creepy!

Haunting expert
I bought this book because Hans Holzer has been writing books on the paranormal since I was a little girl and has never failed to give me the "willies" when reading one of his books! This book has several stories on haunted locations and he seems to research each location quite well.
