OEM Bnk1 Snsr1 2002 Lexus ES300
1 of 1 found this helpful This was an OEM replacement for my vehicle. I had a check engine light though, like most cases, the light was more of an annoyance than an actual problem. The part failed the diagnostics because the heater coil went out. I hesitated to address the problem because the last time this sensor went bad, the mechanic insisted that the entire exhaust manifold needed to be removed and charged me for the labor and a replacement gasket! Absolute Rubbish! I just jacked the vehicle up, disconnected the connector, and used the closed end of a 22mm wrench. 20 minute job max. Is highly recommend this part - just be sure it is correct for your application. My vehicle has a different connector between upstream and downstream. Good luck!

Excellent replacement for DCS-27
I needed this thermocouple for the rotisserie burner on a DCS 27 series grill. The installation went well as expected and the supplied hardware fit...well enough. The burner stays lit and the thermocouple has worked flawlessly through several long cooks. This is a common part used on most millivolt style gas valves, and had no moving parts, so I expect it should last a long time. It is a consumable part, and can be expected to need replacement periodically. I am pleased with this one.

Perfect Fit 2002 Lexus ES300
I got an ABS light and, after looking a bit, found the rear driver side connector has separated from the sensor body. The sensor had corroded completely through and was shot. This past was an exact replacement for the OEM rear wheel speed sensor on a 2002 Lexus ES300. Though not particularly enjoyable to replace, it is cheaper than buying a new hub. If you need one, you'll likely find that the pieces are corroded and difficult to separate. I sprayed penetrating oil on it, and ended up removing the hub assembly to a bench and pounding a couple of screw drivers around the circumference repeatedly until I could separate the sensor from the back of the hub. After reassembly, the ABS light extinguished within 60 seconds of driving. I cannot speak to longevity yet, but the sensor is passive, so I anticipate that I'll get another 200,000+ miles before I'll need to replace this one again. I would highly recommend this part as a replacement and wouldn't hesitate to purchase the same one again. It should work for either side on the applicable vehicles. Good luck!
