Lasts about a year
They worked great until about a year when they start breaking and letting all the water leak out. I had one start leaking and just thought it was hit with something. 2 weeks later another one broke. While I was waiting for a new style of nipples to come in a third one broke. If you use these type of nipples replace them under a year so you don't have a flooded coop.
