Lightweight but nonstandard parts
The list price ($2799) is extremely high. Certainly this is not a disposable department store bicycle. But the crankset, the handlebar, stem, and the seat post don't suggest that this is a high-end bicyle. However, the biggest problem is the front wheel and the fork that have very strange specifications. If the front wheel is broken, which is a quite common damage to a bicycle, there is NO replacement. The manufacturer (Allen Sports) does not have the front wheel as spare parts, and there is nowhere to buy it. You can get ISO 451 wheels but ZERO has the hub that will fit the fork dropout space. I am just wondering why such absurd parts and specification were chosen. Therefore, the lifetime of front wheel is the lifetime of the expensive bicycle.
