A good investment.
I have had a steady stream of immersion blenders over many years. After my last beloved blender died, I bought another one which was a dud. After just a few weeks, I started shopping again. I have only used the All-Clad a couple of times but I can tell that it is a solid piece of equipment. It is easy to attach/detach, adjust the speeds, turn on, and clean. The shaft is a good length and it has ample power behind it. This one has a cord (which is my preference) but other are cordless.
