Pretty Decent Knife
3 of 3 found this helpful I just used this knife on a backpacking trip in Yosemite. One of the reasons that I purchased this knife was the Buck brand and reputation. It is a good quality knife, but unfortunately made in China. There is a notch at the base of the blade for using the fire starter, however I found that anywhere on the opposite (non sharp side of blade) works much better and produces much more spark. I love the look of the wood handle, its quality wood. Out of the box the blade is very sharp. I would definitely purchase this knife again.

Took care of the hammer
This stopped my water hammer that was due to my irrigation system. The water hammer was so bad, that I felt pretty sure that before long it was going to cause a leak in the attic, in the wall, or under the slab. I felt like it was a ticking time bomb. Since installing it, I have gained a little more peach of mind.
