Exciting throughout, just like all Cornwell books I have read so far.
Happened to pick up a Bernard Cornwell novel last summer at a friend's cottage. It was so good I got hooked immediately on the character of Sharpe and on Cornwell's writing style. I have been tracking down all the Sharpe's books. Just finished these two recently purchased and loved them as much as the previous 8 I have read. I highly recommend for anyone that is into historical fiction, adventure, and nail-biting plots.
