Buy the 3E instead
My Eheim Professional 3E died,replaced it with this canister. It does not hold as much filtering material nor does it pump water through as fast. Strongly recommend an E product so you can have electronic monitoring of flow rates. Not worth the cost savings and is, IMO, a definite step in the wrong direction.
