One of the best bands you never heard ...

I had this album on vinyl and always liked it. Great to be able to get a CD re-issue. Lots of great vocal harmonies, interesting arrangements, great playing. Too bad this band didn't hang together long enough to do more recording together.

Don't let the language barrier put you off

Les Double Six recorded two albums back in the 60's. They are both on this CD. If you like jazz vocals, these are beautiful Vocalese recordings. In their artistry, they are right up there with Lambert, Hendricks, and Ross. The only drawback for me is that the lyrics are in French - and I don't speak French. Not their drawback - mine. Despite that, I loved every minute of this CD.

It's an Airpot!

Sturdy airpot. Bunn, the manufacturer, makes replacement parts available. My heirs will be able to use it, if they drink coffee. Or unless it falls off of the balcony railing onto concrete. eBay has tick boxes on these reviews. One of them asks the question, "Does it brew quickly?" Hahahahahahahaha! Great question! No, eBay, the brewing time is ... ∞. It's not a brewer. It's a glorified thermos bottle. Much like the ones you probably see in your offices every day. eBay also asks: "Is it easy to clean?" The answer: Sure, if you own an appropriate brush. Otherwise ... It's just about impossible to get "really clean." True for all airpots. It's a feature. Hope This Helps ...
