Palm Pre
I went from a Palm Pixi to this Palm Pre I purchased. The Pre is generally a good phone, the ONLY complaint I have about this phone is the length of time it takes to boot. I'm not exagerating, about 5 minutes or so. I have also noticed that the picture quality is not as good as the pixi(grainy), but I wouldn't say bad. Just depends on how important that is to the buyer, I suppose. I like the keypad on the phone being larger than the pixi. Also, the Pre has a Wi-fi switch to turn Wi-fi on and off, which really saves battery life when you're not using this function. Navigating the software is really easy for me, coming from a phone with identical software... The whole reason I went with another Palm is because I really like the WebOS software. It was kind of strange to me when I first bought the pixi, but only took a couple minutes to learn the touch screen motions these phones use. The Pre slides up to expose the QWERTY keyboard, but isn't necessary when just placing a phone call, which I REALLY like. It seems I do not have as many bars for signal strength most of the time on this phone as opposed to my other, but it hasn't affected my usage at all i.e. no dropped calls, no static, or inability to make or receive calls. Overall, I almost love this phone. Only complaints I have are as mentioned above.
