It’s “enjoyable”. I enjoy using it.

Poor Strap Design
The strap suffers from poor design on both ends. In order to attach it to the bottom of the bass, you must install a small piece of leather and a metal D-ring, which a sharp spring clip on the strap then attaches to. This causes the sharp spring clip to rub against and scratch your bass constantly.
For the neck connection, the strap loops between the neck and body at the 20th fret area (weird, but has the positive effect of allowing the bass to hang straight on you versus tipping forward) and is then designed to be tied back on itself (knot) in order to be connected. They give you a leather shoe lace to connect the strap back on itself. It is way too long, and a bad solution for anyone that wants to take the strap off and put your bass back in the case. The Hofner design requires you to “untie and remove the strap” in order to put the bass into its case.
I ended up punching a hole and putting a single Duncan strap lock through the bottom of the strap (and it’s stud on the guitar), and then punched holes in the leather strap at the top and installed two snap buttons similar to those used to button down tarps.
It’s a shame that it takes this amount of modification (and cost) to have an elegant solution that easily detaches from the guitar. In the future I would look for a low-cost leather strap and make the same modifications as noted and probably save quite a few bucks. And not scratch my guitar.
Seller was completely fine to work with.
