Use This One For A Significantly Longer Run Time.

My yeses are conditional. I have only been using for about a week. I was using a 6 year old 5200 mAH battery that at best never lasted more than about 2 and 1/2 hours on a full charge. This one is good for almost 4 and 1/2 hours. Obviously this battery is a bigger package and has a pronounced raised bump underneath. This may actually be a boon because it allows more airflow under my laptop and helps keep it cool. The initial charge time was about 130 minutes. Plugging accessories into USB and other ports will use power at a faster rate but with a higher run time than previous batteries so that I can use for several hours without a worry.

A easy to monitor and reliable 8 port USB charger

For the usual recharge you can directly see the status (volts and current) and know when a device is charged for typical 5 volt on each of 8 ports independently. It will not charge 12 volt and other higher voltage devices. You will need a smart charger with 'orange' colored port that will switch to higher voltages and currents.

I have managed to damage several of thes...

I have managed to damage several of these with spilled coffee. Is easy to replace. Works perfectly, There are five clips at top of keyboard that I push towards the screen to release. The ribbon connector may be difficult to insert. The ribbon can be trimmed by about 0.3 mm at corners with scissors to make it easier to insert.
