Draper 24414 1050 x 150mm fence post auger
1 of 1 found this helpful It is light, strong and won't throw you around if you hit a buried brick, unlike the petrol ones. It bores holes perfect for 100mm square section fence posts and the handle is long enough to make the boring operation relatively easy.
The not so good... The plastic caps on the handle ends are crap. Drop them once, and they are broken, get a couple of rubber ones and replace the rubbish plastic. There is no place on a tool like this for crap plastic. The only other criticism is that it might be a bit longer. Another 15cm - 20 cm and it would be perfect.
To sum up, if you want to dig a 150mm (6") post hole down to a depth of about 1m or so then this is the tool.
Get it, you won't be disappointed.
