Good book, pity about the binding!
This book provides a detailed list of what most people should take with them and how to use them, for camping comfortably. After camping for many years, I found that most of the information provided I agreed with - some I didn't but that's okay. They also had a couple of ideas that I had not thought of before, and I intend to put into use. It was easy to read and easy to find the information you may be looking for.
The biggest downside was the fact that the binding on the book fell apart on my first reading, and about 30 pages fell loose into my hands.
I think it is exactly what it says it is: a good, basic introduction to what you need to take with you and think about when deciding to set up for camping. It is just a pity that I now have to store it with a bulldog clip!
