Mostly effective but slightly buggy
When functioning correctly, the unit successfully converted cassette tapes into MP3 audio files. However, the unit suffers from sporadic noise issues, wherein it will occasionally suffer what seems like 60-cycle feedback from nearby AC lines or sources such as transformers, or would also occasionally suffer from intermittent, pulsed humming. Both of these phenomena may indicate internal grounding problems with the unit's circuitry. Typically, turning the unit off and leaving it rest for five to ten minutes resulted in elimination of these problems. Also keep the unit away from all AC power cords, while in use.

Excellent machine, great color reproduct...
Excellent machine, great color reproduction with prints or slides. Needed alternate software as the included software tended to cut off some slide sections, almost arbitrarily. Otherwise, unit in perfect condition. Fast scanner, great color, mint condition and THANK YOU for NOT using ammonia on the glass!
