It fits the camera
The connector fits my Canon EOS 7D, and the 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo adapter snaps in securely. It's just what I needed.

Solid, and it works
This is for photograph software that uses RS232 RTS to trigger a camera's shutter. It works. It comes with a USB to RS232 converter and a cable that goes from the 3.5mm stereo jack on the unit to a 2.5mm jack on many Canon cameras. My camera uses a different connector, but I was prepared with the appropriate conversion.
The included USB to serial cable uses a Prolific chip rather than the CH340 found in cheap adapters.

Works as it should
I needed to follow the Digispark instructions to get it going, which involves installing drivers, adding the board to the Arduino IDE, and only plugging it in after starting the sketch upload, but their "blink" example worked like a champ.
It's a little trickier than programming a regular Arduino, but it's cheap and tiny.
