Great little charger

So far it has worked great! We have been having problems with the battery boxes on the controllers not working even with fresh batteries. This solved it!

Good for a month....

Good for a month then would not recharge in my Uniden scanner. Buy at own risk. Sounds like quality control is hit/miss on product. It does have warranty but it has expired. I don't like having to deal with sending stuff back so if you do buy, be aware of warranty and USE it.

Only couplers I use

I have over 200 HO scale cars in my collection and almost every one has Kadee #119 shelf couplers. My tank cars and a few hoppers have the unaltered version while the vast majority of my other cars have the top shelf removed keeping the lower shelf intact. They work as the prototype does and it can make uncoupling a little difficult but some practice and you can uncouple quickly. I will not stop collecting rail cars and will always use #119.
