The right tool for my jobs
Awesome tool for the occasional user. Just right for me as by the time the battery is done, so am I. Clearing downed trees from the road (common) Clearing deadfalls from the area around the stream and cutting up cord wood are tasks that I need to complete. This tool allows me to do that with less body stress (less vibration than my gas saw) with about the same weight and power. This saw keeps up with my 30cc gas saw and because the battery powered saw is less tiring to use I get more work done in less time.
I like the Greenworks also as a carry saw in my rig for those times the road is blocked. No gas smell, quick to put into services; push the battery in place, turn it on and saw away. I'm not sure why but trees seem to fall during really cold weather when my gas saw gives me a workout to get it started. If I bring it indoors for a period of time it will start easily. The battery power saw starts without any workout.
I am always amused when someone trys to compare this saw to a 60cc saw and then say why the far more, heavy, expensive gas saw is better. These are the same guys who would say that new pickup just doesn't work as well as my Kenworth tractor at pulling a load. Pick the right tool for the job.

One of the better ergo mouse systems
I have a number of ergo mice that I use. This is one of the more comfortable designs I have found. Very good cant to the wrist and a surprisingly good fit in the hand.

Great tool!
1 of 1 found this helpful First job was to repair a pole barn that was falling apart due to age, wind and nails not screws. As a test I attempted to drive the new screws with a 3/8" Ryobi drill and a 3/8" Dewalt drill. The Dewalt had more torque than the Ryobi drill but neither of them were able to drive a screw more than half way into the wood.
The Ryobi impact driver worked better than expected with the 5" long screws and drove them home with ease. This is now my primary tool for such tasks.
Ryobi is easily a best buy with prices that are almost too good to be true compared to Dewalt and others. With the price difference I can buy more batteries and tools so that I can have spares even though I have yet to have a failure of tool or battery from Ryobi. I cannot say the same for Dewalt.
