Great fix for sleepless nights!
Our daughter's pediatrician recommended this DVD because she was not sleeping at night - just crying between feeding and sleeping all day. We checked it out of the library the next day and the first night we watched it and used the advice she slept for 5 hours in a row! I have since bought a copy to loan out to friends.
I like the DVD much more than the book because it is short and cuts right to the chase. My husband says it is made for parents who haven't been getting much sleep and is therefore very slow paced and easy to understand. Plus seeing the calming techniques in action is very nice.
I know tons of people have reviewed this DVD, but I wanted to add my support!

A fun read for children who are loved by a knitter!
My children and I happened upon this book at our library, then promptly ordered one for my mother-in-law who knits for with love for many who know her! The pictures are simple and beautiful. The story is whimsical, but you see touches of real life in the characters.

Best book I read on brestfeeding!
The Nursing Mother's Companion has great chapters to read before the baby is born and is divided into sections based on your baby's age. It is a wonderful trouble shooting guide for various difficulties and problems and includes step-by-step instructions for resolving them. I have other books on nursing, but this is the one I turn to first because it has very basic and practical advice and information. Easy to read when you are short on sleep with a newborn! I am buying it for my friend who is expecting because it was such a help to me.
