Not budget friendly
This is an excellent motherboard that packs a lot of features for its time. However, beware that this model uses unbuffered ECC memory only. Unbuffered memory offers little performance difference. I would recommend getting a board that supports the cheaper, registered memory instead.

High performance, low energy consumption
Perfect little CPU for a low powered always on unit, like a router.

This is unbuffered
Unbuffered ECC memory is apparently expensive and not in high demand. Therefore, I recommend getting UDIMMs from a reputable brand, like Samsung.
