A Prairie Home Companion
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a movie about life and death, of people and of a way of life. Its about the high's and low's of a small group of radio entertainers who have come to the end of the line with radio. The movie shows how the ending of an era effects the players of this radio show. Where will they go, what will they do now that this part of their lives are over. Its a fun but sad movie. It makes you think about what will happen when the way of life as you always knew moves on to something else. Besides Robert Altwood directed. You know you have to watch it just to catch the funny little quirks that he puts in.
