Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing
If you have been considering upgrading from no windshield or windshield alone to a Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing, I have done so recently on my 08' Heritage Softail. I bought mine as a kit consisting of the fairing, wind deflectors, windshield, windshield trim, and mounting hardware. Even for someone as tool challenged as I, it was a breeze to install & adjust, it took me 20 minutes from opening the box to fully installed. The fairing provides much greater wind, rain, bug, and road hazard protection than just the stock windshield did. I can now ride in greater comfort for further distance. An unexpected benefit is that it is also much more quiet behind the fairing & windshield, making for a more enjoyable ride. I recently got caught 12 miles from home in a severe thunderstorm and I'm not sure I would have made it back safely had it not been for the protection & visibility provided by the fairing. I highly recommend this product.

Saddlemen Kickstand Boot
A very often overlooked piece of essential gear for bikers is a kickstand boot, particularly it seems by those who ride heavyweights. Why I don't know, as this simple & inexpensive item can save you hundreds or even thousands in repair costs. A boot is a platform that distributes the weight on your kickstand to prevent the bike from tipping over when parked on soft ground or hot asphalt. Believe me, nothing will make you madder than parking in the lot at work in the morning, then coming out for lunch and finding your baby tipped over & busted up because the kickstand sunk into the asphalt as it heated up! The Saddlemen Boot is perfect for the long kickstand on my Heritage Softail. It fits easily in my the sunglasses pouch mounted on the windshield so is close at hand. I have a couple feet of Ranger Cord tied to mine, which after I have the bike resting on it, I tie to the handlebars so I can pick it up w/o having to bend over, when I'm ready to leave. I highly recommend this boot...

Very good pure concealment grips
The Hogue Rubber Bantam grips for S&W K Frame Round Butt are possibly the best all around concealment grips available for the mid size framed Smith revolvers. They are about the best compromise available between concealability, shootability, and price. Looks are nothing to write home about, but as they are meant for concealed carry, no one is supposed to see them anyway. If you have medium/large to large hands you likely will find these grips too small for comfort. My biggest complaint with them is the same with all rubber grips, when hiding for handgun under a shirt against bare skin in hot weather, rubber grips will rub your hide raw. There is no way around this other than to wear a tucked in shirt between the grip and your man or woman hide and conceal with a light shirt over the top. If you can live with having to make this adjustment and the pretty as a mud fence looks, you can use these grips a lifetime and never need to check out an upgrade...
