UNSEARCHED PENNY ROLLS VDB SHOWING 1909-1958 BU WHEAT CENTS S MINTS STEEL SALE $

Lots of 50's and 40's and hype, but little value
The 1909 VDB was G4 an $11 coin retail. There was one penny from 20's (1929-P in poor), one from 30's (1939-D), 14 from the 40's (3 1947-S and 1 1944-S) and 33 from the 50's (3 1951-S) and ...rest were more common P and D. There were no coins that were BU (maybe a 56-D) or steel.

Great into chapters about building the boat in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, boot camp, psychological and physiological dangers of submarine service. Lots of personal quotes and pictures from those who served on the Puffer. Much detail on the heroics to save the boat during the first war patrol after a severe depth charge attack. Detailed charts of all names, rates, and dates for those who served on the Puffer during WWII.
