A must read for lovers of either cats or Churchill.
Let me begin by saying I am a cat guy who loves history. I found this to be a really well written story about a loyal cat and his equally loyal human. This book looks at several things all from the perspective of the cat. Included in this is the bond between human and pet, watching our loved ones age, and seeing an inside look to the lifestyle of Sir Winston Churchill’s last years. This book could easily be read by someone in middle school and would make the basis for one really interesting history project. The author’s knowledge of both feline behavior as well as Churchill is exceptional. I simply cannot recommend this book enough, I don’t think you will be disappointed!
