for the price u pay it is a fantastic item especially if u want a 12 volt output from 5 volt and I use it to power the GPS externally

Fits like a glove
I bought this after the little white plastic clip broke on my original cover for the Cuisinart DLC-8. The original cover part number is DLC-877BGTXT and this one is DLC-877BGTXT-1. I attached the replacement i received from Ebay and turned the motor switch and the machine did not come on. I read the reviews here and thought the product is not a replacement. I was totally wrong. I did not attach the top cover on the lid. Once I attached the top sliding cover on the top lid, the machine worked perfectly. The DLC-877BGTXT-1 is an exact replacement for the DLC-877BGTXT. Most people tried to run the machine without the top sliding part on the top lid. That is wrong. The top sliding part which contains the food pusher has to be attached to this top cover for the machine to work. Please do that before posting reviews stating this part does not work. THIS REPLACEMENT PART WORKS JUST FINE. I am very happy with the part they sent.
