Ok for smooth road use.
It charges fast, but it's very lightweight and feels extremely flimsy. Pretty sure I'll end up breaking it soon. The arms are no where near tight enough, few bumps and the phone wobbles about.

A little big but makes up for it with other features...
1 of 1 found this helpful I originally bought this for it's waterproof abilities, but I haven't got it wet yet so can't really comment on that feature. As far as a handheld goes though it's very nicely done, easy to operate, simple to use and has plenty of features. It is on the large side a little, but if mounting to a boat/canoe like I will that's not really an issue. Connected it my PC and added maps with no issues, did not lose it's signal indoors which I was pretty happy with. Overall I say a great unit.

Same as products half the price
I was sick and tired of helmet straps breaking, so I decided to go the 'best' quality of welding helmets. Fist time use: head strap seems to be of equal quality of the cheaper brands, still thin plastic with no real support. Actually this particular helmet (and I've had 6 and the last 5 years) was the only one to pull and pinch my hair, so now I need to wear a bandanna. The screen area is smaller than most Cigweld or other brands, bit disappointing. Now the worst bit, this is the only helmet I've ever used that needs to be turned on! Meaning every morning I blind myself before having to take it off and turn it on. I don't think It's a battery issue as I have never in my life had to replace batteries on a helmet that doesn't need turning on. Clearly the technology in this helmet is outdated, yet it cost twice as much as any helmet I've ever owned. Don't know why? I can't keep using it, I'm keeping it as a spare only and getting another one...
